THE FACE SHOP ECO KIDS
Face Serum Lotion for kids (ages 4-10)
less than P200
I remember when I was barely in my teens and all the girly-girls in school used baby powder as MAKE-UP.
Looking back, that seemed like such a silly thing to do. To be fair, back then we didn't have too much options.
My baby powder days came to my mind when I saw The Face Shop ECO KIDS Face Serum Lotion.
Why not try this in honor of my baby powder days, eh?
I found this at an outlet shop in Paseo de Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Outlet shops of big brands have the best bargains. That is if you don't mind out of season products or old stock items like this one.
The box was in bad shape so I tossed that out immediately. Hence, no pics.
Because it is used for kids, the packaging is adorable.
The bottle is a dense plastic material that is smooth to the touch.
Come to think of it, I was surprised to see a moisturizer designed for children. That's kids around the age of 4!!!!
They do say that it's best to start early. But isn't that too early?
The pump that comes with this is wonderful.
How I wish our local brands (I'm talking to you Every Bilena Proflawless Finish Foundation!) would use this kind of pump!
The pump is worked on a spring that allows for micro-control. It dispenses minute amounts of product at a time.
It even comes with this super cute cover :P
The product itself is very light. It disappears into the skin immediately leaving a slightly dewy look.
I suppose on dry winter days, kids would need moisturizer to product their young skin.
For me, I use this as my night moisturizer.
In the mornings, I only use my day moisturizer and layer on make-up on top of that.
I need my day moisturizer to pack a punch.
At night, I use my aloe vera gel which I think is already a heavy product.
The Face Shop Eco Kids Face Serum Lotion acts a sealant to keep moisture and aloe gel on my skin.
DOWNSIDE:
It smells funny... really funny.
It has a slight chemical smell. It is not pleasant :(
Overall, I don't really recommend this.
But you are welcome to try this yourself if you see this on sale.
Or, if you have sensitive skin.
xo, Pau
