Reorganizing my vanity is part of my 2014 NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS (read here).
This way I'd be see, and use, the products I have. Hopefully, this will make stick to my beauty regimen better and encourage me get-pretty more often :P
A bit of background... I live in my own small apartment that doesn't leave a lot of room for furniture.
I move around SO much that buying heavy/bulky furniture would not work for me. Light (plastic) furniture seems to be the way to go with my lifestyle.
My vanity is a regular sized plastic table that I got from LANDMARK, TRINOMA more than 2 years ago. I think I got it for P800. For the retail value and how much use I've gotten out of it, this table is a steal.
Because I'm using a plastic table, I'm not keen on using anything heavy for my vanity. I would one day love use acrylic organizers, etc. But that's for later.
I am using half of a 4 layered shoe rock that I is also from LANDMARK, Trinoma. I did my homework and found that LANDMARK, Trinoma has the BEST deals of plastic furniture items.
Let's start at the very top of my VANITY. The white fold-able table is from DAISO for P88 (like everything else in that shop :P).
I have 2 sections for each layer: the front part are for most used items, while the back part are for back up products or rarely used ones.
At the front part of the DAISO table, I have my opened cotton rounds (WATSONS). On the lid of a repurposed box, I have my ESKINOL toner, my hair velcro, as well as my make-up wipes. I use this every single day to keep pimples at bay.
I have cotton swabs in a cute ceramic holiday mug. Towering behind it, I have my ST. IVES Eye Stress Gel and back up cotton swabs.
On the clear jar next to it, I have my eye brow shavers and nail clippers (plus that hair tool thing).
At the back part, I have spare unopened cotton swabs (hidden lol). I have my big tub of ST. IVES Collagen Elastin Moisturizer (I have smaller jars for daily use). On top of that, I have my spare petroleum jelly jars.
And, at the very back, I have my medicine bag.
On this round container, I have all my brushes with my lash curler (NICHIDO).
I have a two-part brush collection post (here & here). There's only one addition: my new ELF stippling brush.

On the 2nd layer (sitting at the top layer of the shoe rack), I have several bins. 2 make-up bins, and 2 accessories bin. Plus, a red handheld folding mirror and my sunglasses.
This bin has my single shadows, which happens to be mostly neutral.
I have a lot of FASHION 21 and NICHIDO single shadows - all neutrals.
I also have this tiny FANNY SERANNO single shadow. This is a dinosaur as FANNY SERANNO has repackaged their single shadows!
I also have an elianto baked shadow from ROBINSONS PLACE, Ortigas for P100 (on sale).
I also have an elianto baked shadow from ROBINSONS PLACE, Ortigas for P100 (on sale).
And, I have my VOV cream foundation. This is really thick and is one shade lighter than my skin tone. I use this as an undereye concealer for special occasions, and as an eye shadow base on a daily basis.
Next to that, I have a small plastic bowl (P10) for my earrings and rings.
And, a small repurposed container for my dainty earrings.
This is my favorite container of the lot. I've repurposed this box, obv.
It has all the foundations/bb cream/face powder/tinted moisturzer that I own.
The one with the orange lid is a face sunblock for the summer or sunny days.
And the white square lid is my KOKURYU Super Glow stick that I use to highlight.
These are my accessories. The plastic container used to have chocolates! Yum.
The jewelery holder is from my mum. She knows I love shells!
The pink box with the faux silver heart and onyx earrings are also from her!
The middle layer of the shoe rack has the rest of my make-up.
At the very back, I have my cheek and bronzing/contour products on the left, with my SAN SAN cream concealer (I use this on a daily basis).
The red case there is my biggest palette. I only keep small palettes (see right bin). I would love to have a huge palette but I rarely ever use them. So, I thought smaller ones would me more manageable.
The right bin also has my pencil sharpener (NICHIDO), my lash glue (AIDO), and my SAN SAN face powder (blue case).
On this round container, I have all my brushes with my lash curler (NICHIDO).
I have a two-part brush collection post (here & here). There's only one addition: my new ELF stippling brush.
This round container has my eye products. It has my eye pencils (black & colored), my mascara collection (3 :P), and my liquid liners.
I meant to place all my lipsticks in full view so that I'd use them more.
This bin has all my lip products: lip balm, lip gloss, lip liner, and lipsticks.
The last level of the shoe rack has scents, my new night time skin care routine and other essentials.
I am currently trying to use all my VICTORIA'S SECRET Heavenly body spray.
BUT wait, there's more!
This is the last one :)
I have repurposed this box lid, which now has my petroleum jelly jars, an eye cream and 2 repurposed tiny jam jars that now holds my ST. IVES moisturizer (day time routine).
I love that I can just slide it back when I'm done so that my desk only has my mirrors, my brush and my comb. They use to just sit on the table top. Now, I'm clutter-free yay!
That's all on what's on my vanity. I'll have a separate post for my jewelry collection!
STAY TUNED!
xo, Pau
