PASTEL GLITTER
3 layers of OMY Oh My Golly by Klik in FIRST DATE
1 layer of Klik in FROSTED Superstar
I completely fail at nail art so I prefer to just layer textures on my nails.
The surest combo is a cream polish with a glitter polish on top.
These polishes were part of the same haul from LANDMARK, Trinoma (here).
I would be using other polishes from my collected this holiday season, especially my favorite Bobbie Premium Nail Cremes.
I was in the mood for something really girly so opted for something sweet like OMG by Klik in FIRST DATE.
I have worn this color before (here). It's still really difficult to work with but as I've been saying for a while, I'm in love with my OMG polishes at the moment.
I also haven't gotten an opaque non-pearl pink. Caronia, as well as other brands, have similar shades but they are usually a translucent pearl formula.
I wanted a true cream as a base to make the glitter pop.
It is a surprisingly good polish for its price and that it was marketed towards younger girls.
I find that it's a good top coat, preventing wear at the tips. It may be because it's more of a jelly formula.
My polishes rarely chip on me but the tips wear out in mere days!
I can't wait to pick up a clear polish from Klik.
Forgive the messy-ness of the polish application. I was doing this in the dark in a rather awkward position. Hence, the polish isn't as nice as it should be.
There's also that "cut" mark on my thumb. I don't know what made that!
It took longer to dry as there were a lot of layers (I needed to build up FIRST DATE to its full opacity).
It was also a clumsy day :P
