Thinking of wearing statement earrings?
Here's a DAYTIME look for you!
I find it difficult to wear statement earrings without feelings that I went overboard (and beyond).
I know that in campus, it's easy to get away with it.
But I struggle to keep it casual with statement earrings.
I've seen statement-earrings walking horror stories so I thought I'd share my make-up look for wearing statement earrings in daytime.
TIP 1 : Dewy to Demi-Matte Finish
There's something about absolutely matte finishes that makes you look all done up.
It's the make-up/face version of spending hours for an Imelda Marcos hairdo
I remember one of my professors telling us that she wakes up at 4am everyday to do her hair. Yikes!
To keep it casual, keep to skin-like make-up or a dewy to demi-matte finish.

TIP 2 : Clear Eyes
To keep the focus on the earrings, wear neutral to nothing on your eyes.
Here, I've just applied eye pencil to tightline, curled my lashes and applied one coat of mascara (mainly to hold my curl).
Sorry for the sweat-mustache - it was really hot that day.
TIP 3 : NAKED LIPS
I applied of San San Soleil lip color on with a dabbing motion and pressed my lips together to spread out the product.
Then, I applied lip balm.
Keep the lips minimal as well.
HAIR : I try my hair back in a messy bun. I don't want my tresses getting tangled with my earrings! :P
