I must admit that I don't frequent Figaro, preferring Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for my regular supply of overpriced caffeine.
But I found myself in a long wait at the Philippine Heart Center and chose Figaro to while away the time.
I ordered this:
Cinnamon Apple Chamomile
STASH and Twinnings were on display at the counter and STASH was clearly winning over the colors game.
I chose this blend because it smelled delicious through the paper packet.
STASH boasts to be gluten-FREE and non-caffeinated with 100% natural ingredients.
I don't have problems with any of these but I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate these promises.
I do appreciate that the tea bag smells even more awesome out of the packet.
It really packs a punch with how it smells. I almost want to get a box of this, put in hot water and let the aroma waft around my tiny apartment.
Can I have this in scented-candle form please?
I'm sure this is my ignorance making itself known, but I mixed in the milk with the tea and it curdled.
I thought that only happened with lemon. That also works with citrus smelling tea, eh.
Not only does it smell heavenly, but the tea is actually red! Pretty!
This might be from the apple in the tea leave mix.
This tea is on the sweet side, even without added sugar. If you're in to that, then this is your tea.
It's not a heavy (dark) tea. It is incredibly light and energizing.
Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf has the best hot tea in my humble opinion.
And the price point is very close.
Still, this tea was great on its own and I would definitely have this again whenever I find myself at Figaro.
Hope you enjoyed!
