ADDICTED TO TEA!
I AM A TEA JUNKIE.
I don't mean the cold milk-tea drinks that had been popping up everywhere like weed everywhere.
I don't mind those, but I love tea in tea bags.
Mind that I am not a connoisseur. I do not know every single type of tea.
Nor can I identify a type of tea blindfolded. I'm not that kind of lover (yet?).
I just like to have a bit (3 cups at least) of tea a day.
I used to do this for coffee. I ended that relationship and took up a new equally destructive one.
This is my TEA BOX. Probably one of my most favorite box in the house ever!
It has two layers of tea boxes and a bag of coffee grounds at the very top.
Yes, this is not tea. But it lives in my tea box and it's a Filipino product so that's gotta count for something.
CAFE AMADEO in PAHIMIS BLEND
I got this as a freebie from a coffee expo that my mom dragged me to.
I do not know how much this costs but I have two bags of this blend and it has a nice full taste. Good blend.
SLEEPYTIME TEA (20 bags)
This is my most favorite tea of the bunch.
I drink this nearly every night. It has a nice herbal scent with mint that does help me get sleepy.
I am an insomniac who needs all the help.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tea.
The bags lie flat at the bottom of your cup and doesn't have the string to pull it out.
Use a spoon to scoop out the bag instead.
This comes with 20 bags and makes 3 cups/bag.
STRAWBERRY RASPBERRY CRANBERRY
Robinson's Supermarket, SOLENAD 2
My mom and I went grocery shopping for the last holidays and I was intrigued by this so I picked it up.
This became my housemate's favorite tea ever.
It's sour-sweet just like strawberry.
It smells heavenly (fruity) and turns your tea red.
It has 25 bags and makes 2 cups/bag.
This tea smells amazing!
Black Tea with Cinnamon
Another tea from Steuarts that I got with the last featured tea.
I needed a good breakfast tea to replace my coffee.
Breakfast tea is usually black (think: earl grey). I picked this one because it was over the holidays and I was obsessed with cinnamon.
This smelled gorgeous! And makes 4 to 5 cups with just one bag.
Bang for your buck!
I love that it comes individually packed so slip some in a ziplock baggie and take it with you (to work/school/etc.)
Aren't they polite? :P
You're very welcome, Steuart.
This tea company is from Sri Lanka.
Green Tea With Jasmine (25 bags)
This tea is one of my first loves.
It started my obsession for fragrant flavored tea.
The bags are individually packed in a plastic baggie (instead of the usual paper). It's a bit more special see ;)
This is one of LIPTON's more adventurous offerings. And, I must say that LIPTON did well with this blend.
I do hope that LIPTON becomes more adventurous because tea is EXPENSIVE!
Well, it becomes more expensive because you can usually only buy it in big packs.
LIPTON makes some of the more affordable tea bags.
And, they make it well. So, LIPTON, do try more flavored tea!
Yellow Label TEA
International Blend (50 bags)
Another LIPTON! This big box is a gift from my mom who knows my love for tea.
She may be wanting to try tea but she gave up quickly and handed this baby over to me.
Yay! She's a coffee addict.
The Yellow Label is LIPTON's traditional blend. This is one of the cheapest tea from LIPTON's line.
If you're looking for a more affordable blend, this is it.
It's pretty decent too. But I'm out for more adventurous blends.
Do not add milk to flavored green tea, especially if it's fruit flavored.
That's my tea collection so far.
I'm about to finish my LIPTON GREEN TEA w/ Jasmine as well as my SLEEPYTIME TEA.
Because I have the big Yellow Label tea from LIPTON, I will not be repurchasing LIPTON GREEN TEA w/ Jasmine for now.
I will be getting a box of SLEEPYTIME TEA in my next shopping run.
I can't wait to try more of CELESTIAL SEASONINGS!
I'd love to try TAZO and more STASH but they are usually out of stock >.<
