Learn how to remove tough or stubborn glitter polishes
without scrubbing the heck out of your nail bed!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
(1) REGULAR ALUMINUM FOIL
Grab a strip of aluminum foil from your kitchen cupboard.
Cut them into small rectangular strips that's enough to wrap around your finger.
You need 10 of these strips: one for each finger.
(2) NAIL POLISH REMOVER and COTTON
I'm using my favorite BOBBIE Nail Polish Remover (P49.50 - WATSONS).
I have the biggest size to save me regular polish remover shopping trips.
Mind that I change my nail polish about 3 times a week and I'm paranoid of suddenly running out of polish remover :P
There are smaller size bottles of BOBBIE Nail Polish Remover that works fine.
But I find that the bigger bottle lasts a long time. I've had this bottle for 3 months and counting!
I'm using regular cotton balls but you can use any cotton variant (maybe not swabs :P ).

I LOVE wearing glitter polishes! They just make such a statement.
They're my favorite type of polishes. Unfortunately, they are a pain to remove.
They are just so stubborn! The glitter particles (especially the chunkier ones) just want to stay on your nails FOREVER!!!
Before, I removed them like regular polishes but the scrubbing HURTS. Ouch!
Now, I have a quick and easy way to remove those stubborn glitter polish!
STEP 1
STEP 1: Soak your COTTON BALL with NAIL POLISH REMOVER
Use more than the usual amount. It doesn't need to be dripping nail polish though.
Place the COTTON BALL over your nail.
STEP 2
STEP 2: Wrap the ALUMINUM FOIL around the COTTON BALL (all around your finger).
Press the ALUMINUM FOIL against your finger to make sure it's secure.
Pressing will also make sure that there's no air coming in to dry out the NAIL POLISH REMOVER in the COTTON BALL.
Do this for all your fingers. It can look strange :P
WAIT FOR 5-10 minutes!
STEP 3
STEP 3: Remove foil+cotton from your nails.
Your polish, glitter and all, is GONE! MAGIC! LOL
The NAIL POLISH REMOVER in the ALUMINUM FOIL will effectively dissolve any polish on your nails. The lack of air and the gentle pressure makes the NAIL POLISH REMOVER work twice as good.
TIP:
*It may feel warm on the fingers.*
*If there's any staining from the polish after foil+cotton removal, just take a fresh cotton ball w/ nail polish remover to clean it up.*
I hope this helps out all the glitter polish lovers out there!
GOOD LUCK!
xo, Pau
