SMART DESIGN
These pebbles mark the drainage. I thought this was a smart idea as I've seen mossy icky drainage all the time.
I hope they do this around my place!

I've never really noticed this frog before! I was taking shots of the landscape when he just showed up here. He's camouflaged expertly, sitting on that rock.
This froggy doesn't want to be disturbed.
