As you might have noticed, I finally had the time to revamp my blog! Yay! I changed a few things that I couldn't have done without the help of my boyfriend. It's his 6th monthsary "present" for me. Even though it's not the most romantic thing in the world, it sure beats roses + chocolates when it comes to longevity and usefulness. Take that romance! One point for practicality ✔

First off, I changed the color scheme from blue to purple/pink. I've always gravitated towards those yummy girly colors. I sure don't have a problem mix-and-matching them. For other more discernible features, they mostly involve images and links.
1) SUNSET BACKGROUND - Sunset at the beach is probably my most favorite beach experience. I suppose that sunrise would do it for me as well, but I could not be bothered to get up that early! This lovely beach background is the beachfront of Cabugao Beach Resort, Ilocos Sur a year back. It was taken by the lovely Kate with her fancy Pentax. How I wish I had one!
2) PAGE BAR - I have a new page bar to make navigation easier. This feature is something I haven't used before - ever. This is really useful if you want to feature anything in your blog. The "Home" tab does what is says. The "About" page has my new who-am-I spiel, with a photo taken by my amateur photographer friend, Rach, back when my camera was new. There's a whole story to that, which no doubt I would tell you later. Then, there's the POUPEE GIRL tab which has all my Poupee Girl Dress Up pics. This blog is linked to my Poupee Girl account so that tab is for my poupee friends.
3) SIDEBAR - There are a few new widgets on the sidebar, as well. My "About" page is at the top. When I visit blogs and find it interesting, I always try to find more about the author. I'm thinking that if there are girls like me, then this should be another easy way to get to know me. Under that is an option to subscribe to my blog entries via email. Next is my Poupee Girl widget, which I got from their website. There are a few options, but I chose the Poupee History so that I could keep tabs on how long I've been playing the game. Yes, I don't know myself lol! The last two are all about archives. You can view previous entries per day using the the drop-down menu. Or, you can search using the tag cloud. When I go through livejournal.com blogs, I always find tag clouds very useful.
This entire revamp took the entire afternoon where my boyfriend sat in front of the computer as I stood behind him and shouted commands. He has been a darling for keeping up with me. On the other hand, he did offer to spruce up my blog so he knew what he was getting into. LOL just kidding!
