It's summer 2012!
This would be my first summer as a non-student (just finished my masters woo!). But I'm still all about summer.
My summer-fest started early this year. I went out to Ilocos Sur for fieldwork in May. If you're thinking of a nice quiet-er place to hang out for the summer, Ilocos Sur is a good bet. We stayed at Cabugao Beach Resort for two weeks. It's the best resort in about a 5-mile radius. This is largely brought about by hot water and... INTERNET! Woo!
I had a lot of fun. I got a really nice tan - ready for the summer in the City!
